We found the greatest baby furniture store today, and there we found the perfect furniture for the nursery. We were unhappy with everything that we saw at Babies R' Us (the downside to a husband with a woodworking hobby - he's VERY picky about construction) so we went searching for a specialty store that carries some of the higher rated brands in the Baby Bargains book. We ended up at Baby-2-Teen Furniture in Manassas, and it is GREAT. Mom, you definitely have to go back there with me when it's time to pick out bedding and decorations - I loved everything.
The furniture we picked out is the Munire Urban collection. You can see the crib and dresser/changing table best in this picture, but we're getting the Natural finish. We won't be getting the tall armoire or any other furniture pieces with the exception of a chair/glider (we are still arguing over which is best). Joe says we have to wait until April to order the furniture because he is constantly afraid we are both going to lose our jobs and have to live under a bridge in cardboard boxes, in which case we won't be needing a crib at all.
